Wow where is this thread going.

Doesn't matter which way you cut it, the 335d can be quick and economical. But as pointed out people don't drive it hard, myself included. Im not ashamed to admit I don't have the skill or the balls to drive it on the limit, I've said this before and nobody has ever ridiculed me for this... As Carl said, he has far more experience than I do and I wouldnt pretend otherwise or dispute his economy claims.

I drive it hard, I take it right through the rev range but this isnt nessecarily on the limit driving. perhaps my increased mpg over others here comes from awareness and different roads, as Pete pointed out.

It's not a pissing contest I get what I get and I drive how I drive and I enjoy the car, I didnt buy it for economy, the economy is a bonus. I dont care if the 335i is faster or slower, it ain't my car but facts are important and shouldn't be disputed or ignored.
