No indeed, it's not the road tax, but the congestion charge for me. Sorry, should have been more clear with my thought process.
On a side note, the Cooper D remaps nicely to around 140bhp and 230lbft torque... yet because of it's original declaration on the V5, is still exempt from CCharge and road tax....
Not that I would condone such bending of the rules...
