The xenon lights from the projector is still the standard OEM xenon. The red in the projector is only visible at certain angles, because the shield behind is painted to give off a red look when you look at certain angles.
I can definitely upgrade to the 10k for you- no problem.
In the end, the xenon does not change color. The shield is painted to give a red hue at certain angles in the light (just for looks). There is also an LED in the projector that can change to any color you'd like. This is the RGB LED. I have a remote for you to change color on command.
