That is the part that your confused about it seems. Dyno's are measuring tools based on the same car with various modifications/tuning improvements. However, my baseline was done on a different dyno so the results are irrelevant.
However, the gains with the intercooler and exhaust are actual, and that is exactly the purpose behind me going to the dyno. Easy as that.
Tunes also increase driveability of a vehicle giving you a longer or larger powerband, so while you may only see a 10whp gain on the dyno, you may see 5 tenths of a second in the quarter mile.
