I did use the suction mount. Iīve got the motorsport edtion, where it is included. And it actually works fine most of the time. But ONLY when the surface is plain and absolutely clean... Thats what i had to learn the hard way.^^
I mounted it on the rear fender, which is a bit curved. And there was some dust on it. Looks like the suction mount canīt cope with that.
But... never mind. It still works.
I fitted a string with a little piece of plastic to the mount, which i use as some kind of a safety string. I shut it into the door or the trunk so that it canīt possibly fall of anymore...
