If I was particularly interested in politics or indeed a supporter of the labour party, out of the two brothers, I would have voted for David as imo he is the better orator and commands more of a presence, certainly on TV.
What gets me with many of them is how with time, they become champagne socialists laced with inverted snobbery and clearly shit on the 'type of people' they claim to support and who voted them into the position. It's happened before many times even at local council level with Derek Hatton etc.
What I found interesting was Ed's comment at the Labour conference aimed at the union bosses, (one of whom whose name and union I can't remember but earns around £200k p.a. and has a union house in Surrey
), saying he won't tolerate 'silly strikes' etc. Knowing the media would be focused on their reaction, the two union blokes sitting next to each other tried to hide their dis-pleasure at Ed's comments but their body language clearly gave them away. Probably thinging 'fu*king great, and we got you the job matey'.
Politics really does bring out the best and worst in people no matter what party they belong to.
