However, just put the stands between the jack and wheel well. Just because its not on a "hockey puck" doesnt mean its not safe. That whole rail is frame and solid enough to hold the car on stands.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I'd feel better if a tech said that was the spot. I kind of like the old days when you could see the frame!
