I should clarify, I have a GoPro2 which has different "wide" modes than the GoPro I was running last year. The "wide" setting at 1080p seems similar to the older narrow 720p setting, it's not the really wide 180 degree one (that distorts views). Either way, one battery is good for 4 sessions/1 typical track day.
