Do what you like. While I prefer to change, I by no means imply that if you don't, your going to screw up your car. I just prefer to rid the break-in material, however slight, out of my engine. I plan to keep the car for a long time. I'm well aware of the quality of modern oils, as I've posted an oil analysis on this board several times, this oil change was not about the quality of the oil at 1300 miles, it was about what was floating around with that oil. After this, I will be changing at 7500 miles.(doing what I like...)
