The driver of the Gallardo is a moron. It's not even a 'too much power thing', its a complete lack of handling skills. The car wasn't going that fast, he/she simply wasn't paying attention.

About five years ago, on Easter Sunday my Uncle was heading to my house in his Ferrari (which he very rarely drives). He was in the slow lane getting ready to exit and a 1984 Buick was over in the fast lane, the freeway is four lanes total (highway 5 South in San Diego if your local). The Buick was tailgating, slammed on the brakes and went skidding all the way across the freeway and into the slow lane.......completely destroying the driver's side of the Ferrari. Exotic cars getting hit stinks but when it is their fault, there is some sort of evil comfort in it. BTW, here it is when it got hit. He ended up giving it to me about three years ago or so ago when he bought his new 360 Spider. It was totally fixed up by an exotic automobile restoration center and looks absolutely amazing now.

Not too bad, looking good.

Still looking pretty good....

My Aunt and Uncle assessing the damage.

Oh dear lord........
