You make a good point about how fast the cooling system can cool the water, but maybe it only takes 1 or 2 degrees to turn back on the power and this could happen in 30 seconds of a cool down lap? I still think it may be the charge air intake temps. This is the main culprit in a SC car and the problems being discussed with power loss is exactly what I had with my other car. A larger air to water HE cured the problem. Cylinder's five and six also are known to get hotter than the others. Are there sensors for each cylinder bank that tell the car to shut power down at a certain temp?
