I said the tires are worn down to slicks, I guess anyone would have figured what I meant, which is the driver should not have driven on those worn out tires, but instead tires with decent amount of thread, and this is what caused the accident. I know that slicks are flat but they have a lot more rubber than tires that are worn down and look like slicks.

Just take a look at the second last picture, you can see minimal thread on both sides of the rear tire. Although the fronts still have some thread left, these are considered worn out too.

You drive a RWD car so you know how the rears wear faster.
