You would put in on the other side of the coolant line, because the TD04 center core is level, so you need a level water line to match. The stock TD03 center core is cast with a lip, such that it matches the existing coolant line perfectly. I hope you get the idea: put the spacer on the other side, not where your arrow is.

And make sure you do NOT tighten the coolant line stud too much !
