Electric water-coolant pump bleeding
Youtube videos describing the electric water pump bleeding procedure (for my 07 X3 E83) are not clear as to radiator cap on or cap off during this procedure.
I tried "cap off" and had a fountain of coolant and a mess on the garage floor.
I just installed the new pump and thermostat (FCP Euro), and will now flush with distilled, fill with BMW Blue 60-40, and run the bleeding procedure with "cap on."
Your thoughts, please?
