Something I think we should all keep in mind. Power corrupts. The FIA and FOM may try to look fair and organized towards the public. But don't think that the men at the top don't have agendas or whims that drive the direction of the entire sport. If you want a glimpse of it, watch Senna again. Jean-Marie Balestre demonstrates in the drivers conference and penalty of Senna to what extent the power the officials in the FIA/FOM have. It is an exclusive club and Ferrari has always been near the top of it as well, because they are Ferrari.

Is this a bad thing? Not if you are on the 'in' side. Will it ever change? Nope, so best get used to it.
