The diagram with the plate looks like it's at least 1/2" thick. Looking at the DIY for the H&R springs for an i, it appears that plate is not there. But 1/8" is not much and BMW did put it there for a reason...

Now would you guys say it's lower than an i with ZSP or about the same.
