it's based on % of the total # of that model sold
M roadsters were sold in very small numbers so even a tiny amount stolen make a large percentage. Also these M roadsters had the 330hp motor which was desirable to thieves, and often distroyed by money shifts at the track (and then reported stolen/insurance fraud)
no BMW is a frequently stolen car when you look at actual numbers of stolen cars
