Btw, some additional information that might be useful... I got a late response from Ivan Romero at BMW of Bloomfield, who another poster had mention. He quoted me $3,500 for the 7/100 extended platinum warranty and $1,845 for 6/100 extended maintenance. Unfortunately, I had already puchased my plans, but this was definitely the best quote I had seen anywhere. I would recommend contacting him for anyone shopping around. His email is
