I personally don't like the look of the X I do like the interior but never a fan of the outside appearance.
I see it this way for me, I put money and time into this car, perform maintenance myself (or a dealer if you can't) Stay on top of things and it should last a long time. All cars break down and things wear out either prematurely or over due. The only real difference is these cars cost more to fix or for parts.
If I could right now go back to when I purchased this 328, I would have bought the 335 instead. Other than BMW's poor parts quality that last a very short life, if you take care of it, it will somewhat take care of you....
On a side note. since owning BMW, I have never seen so many flatbeds with BMW's on them
