My advice should be least trusted since I don't know a ton about the new headunits, but I believe this guarantees your headunit has bluetooth as well as USB.
You'll probably need a mic if you don't have voice control (which I believe you don't, since I believe you don't have iDrive?). I don't know whether or not you'll need to run a wire for it, but I'd guess you do.
Then you'll also need coding. I think just +$644 to VO in CAS+FRM, but I'm not sure if that's all.
Edit: At any rate, you're in luck, if you're DIYing it should be nice and cheap! And not MUCH more expensive if you need to pay to have the coding done.
