The dremel idea was great, you use one of the sanding cylinders and it really takes the ragged edges of the charcoal filter off the inside edges of the airbox quickly. I used a K&N, and wiped down the excess oil from the rubber edges. Based on //Matt's comment, I'll be extra careful when I refresh it to make sure it's not over oiled.
