I havent done this function to the car but what I saw from Youtube is that it monitors each cylinder to see if it is running within specs...Sort of like measuring for cylinder smoothness, misfiring and stuff.From what I saw it has a screen similar to the injector screen, but with cylinder smoothness readings of cylinders 1-6....Pretty cool stuff and especially this is all in English version. This updated version is a must to update as its more complete than the one Vasillov posted especially for those with E92 and E93...
If all you care about is injector coding, then by all means there is no need to update..The link posted above is pretty straightforward and as good as it gets for a DIY...
