I agree, JB4. Map 1 will give you that kick in the pants that you're looking for and for the lowest cost. You can easily find a used one in the classifieds for $400 or less with USB.
Jeff's a good guy so you can continue dealing with him. Install of the JB4 can be DIY'd so save some money there. And if anything, you can easily drive stock (Map 0) when you don't feel like spending the extra mpg.
