Thanks! I was always apprehensive too...but decided what the heck. If you take your time and go slowly and use super fine grit paper, you will be good. Try it in an inconspicuous spot first. Once you do it, you will be searching for scratches to repair!

To really do it right, you will need a machine polisher....by hand you just generate enough heat to buff/polish everything out.


Tip: If you have any kind of vinyl stripe on your car, put painters tape over it first...if the scratch is near the stripe....you could run the risk of taking the stripe with it.
