And i agree, 1.9 with slicks is pathetic. The track that i go to is very busy and sometimes it's hard to get more then 2 runs in one night and this is the second time that i had the slicks so i'm still getting the feel for sticke tires with no LSD. Also, the DCT in the 135 won't let you brake boost, it won't even accelerate if the brake pedal is depressed...so you'r forced to use the launch control.
No worries, i'll get it right.
I think a line lock will do the trick and allow you to heat up those slicks. That was the problem I had when I ran with my MTs. Couldn't do any decently long burn out. So I ended up doing 2 or 3 crappy ones and my tires still weren't warm. But it was enough to make my transmission give the overheat warning. I have a linelock read to be installed before my next trip the strip. But my new FMIC goes in first!
