I've had an Alpina B3 3.3.
Very comfortable ride, not stiff or crashy, but still very composed.
1/4 mile - 14.5 @ 95mph thereabouts.
Best noise of any car I've owned.
Some parts not common to other E46 range can be lengthy to get hold of from Germany.
