Based on the original post, it seems that this also may only be for the intake manifold. While a good start, carbon build-up is also an issue for the cylinderhead as well.
It will be interesting to see if the head is part of the service as well (a la n54 carbon cleaning), or if it is intake manifold only.
...and if it was in the range of $700-$800 and was intake and cylinder head, I would do it as a preventative maintenance every 50k miles anyway.
