After looking at the suspension diagrams on realoem it looks like Kev is correct with respect to the front suspension pieces of the 335xi being different than 335i & M3. Although based on the schematic the 335xi front wishbone does look quite similar to the 335i and M3 front wishbone (different part numbers and actual dimensions could be quite different).
The rear setup seems identical between 335xi, 335i and M3.
As for the bushings it sounds like some are not interchangeable between 335 and M3 due to different diameters. Rear subframe rubber mounts - which Orb claims are important to upgrade - are the same between 335xi and 335i, and can be upgraded to M3 version (pn 33312283383 and 3331228338).

More accurately I am from the "other" great white North - but do have Cannuck roots. You are correct about waiting for better weather, but that's a seriously long wait up here! We'll see how long I can hold out...
