Price was not even a major factor for me, and I still chose the 335is.
I do not need the advanced "sportiness" of the M3. Anything more than the 335is would only get me in trouble. I think both cars look great in their own ways, and this one gets plenty of looks on the highways. The 335is is definitely more unique, which I also like. I even get "thumbs ups" from M3 drivers! This is also my everyday commute & cruising-with-the-ladies car, which I feel lends itself more to the 335is than an M3. I bought the retractable hardtop convertible, which was another reason I like the 335is over other models with softops. I also have every possible package/option installed so that it is fully loaded. I simply have no desire for an M3 since I am so happy with my 335is.
