they may have just blown out, but thats why they are warrantied, they couldent have died at a better time...that is if they are dead, as you would have more then likley thru a code but their are chances that wont happen. our A6 had a cat die and no codes were lit, it was just enufe not to throw a code but was replaced and the marbles went with it.



by the way 80K is government mandated warranty, you factory new car warranty died at 50K
I think you have that wrong:

OP needs more than 80K for it to be covered.

BTW, if you changed your muffler, don't you need to cut it off? The dealer can easily identify welding and obviously a clamp....
