Yeah the best way to do it is to respray the whole bumper. Make sure you get a reputable place to warranty the paint.
I hear you the lip was $500 for mine to luckily I have my friends shop so I don't pay to much on the labour side. And this year I added a under splitter and I'm liking the look.
