I think its fair to say this is a v16 and uses the 2009 map database, and BMW sells it as a v16 2010 map disc. If any of you guys have a v15 disc, please have a look at your cdrom.toc file, and possibly share the contents in the .toc file.

To open the cdrom.toc file..

- right click on cdrom.toc
- open / open with
- select 'wordpad' to open with (if you don't want windows to open the .toc extension with wordpad in the future, untick the box at the bottom)
Yep that's what I found. Iirc it's the whereas database, I always wondered if you got the file off another make would it work?
