I'd agree on some LED applications. I'm not a fan of cheap knock off LED tailights and headlight housings. The components are usually inferior and low quality. So is their output.

However, when they are high quality components that meet or exceed OEM performance I would disagree.

If its any consolation every manufacturer is converting to LED's on all their lighting applications.
They are brighter, safer, easier to see (notice), run cooler and use less energy. To the majority on OEM applications they are also more appealing.

We have a lot of customers and friends that enjoy LED applications on the Porsche Daytime running lights and Audi's for instance.

They new BMW's LED turn signals are very appealing to our customers too.

To each their own though. Enjoy your car as it only matters what makes you happy.
