You will need Icom A + B = fair amount of dosh being spent
Also, I'm assuming you mean a software update. Firmware is not normally updated unless to address specific hardware handshake issues
Although, ahem, I have updated my CCC using a K/D Can serial cable. It took the better part of 4 hours ( I am not advocating you do the same, as you can brick your CIC using this method)
