my recording instructor once told us to get a career, a real job, and then start buying gears when we make enough money. since the only thing that you said you like is music, try motivating yourself in your job so you'll have money to buy music gears. professional gears are not really cheap and there's too much competition in the music industry.

maybe when you get enough gears you can start a small recording studio. (i want a personal recording studio someday)

how about a part-time job in a music store?
