Shows how much the mutts at MSN know - who pays attention to what they say anyway? Personal experience is always the best indicator. I've owned three 3-series (1 new, 2 CPO) and my wife has had one CPO 3-series and now owns a bought-new 1-series. Never had any "reliability" issues with any of them. Apparently I bought mine from "enthusiasts" who knew how to treat their cars and from a dealership who knew how to treat their customers.
