Ok. so applying wax is best done by hand. forget the buffer thing. doesn't take too long. its has to be spread very thin, if its thick it doesn't mean more protection, just a waste of product. (more is not better). Finally leave the wax around 10-15 mins till it drys and do the swipe test (take one finger and swipe the paint, if its clear then the wax is ready to be removed, if its hazy then leave longer. i would do around 2 coats of wax. and even better would be to buy a sealant such as Chemguys Jetseal 109 or nanolex then put wax over. the seals usually last 6 months where as wax is 1 month.
