I too went with Admiral
Very cheap for the first year (or part of the year for some of the cars) -including 2 young drivers, although both had NCD's. Five cars in total.
Second year was marginal - I MAY have been able to get the same insurance cheaper, but not much. Stayed with Admiral.
Third year was horrendously expensive.
I'm now with 4 different companies for 5 cars. Or to be really correct, 6 companies for 7 vehicles. Bugger.
NCB's earned with Admiral with all the named drivers have been accepted by other companies as wife/son/daughter effectively had insurance in their names - just that I was paying it all (nothing new there then!)
Downside is that now I have a big insurance bill for all the cars at the same time. Thankfully not Christmas!!
