IMHO - depends on the state of your car. Get it thoroughly checked out by an independent BMW/German specialist mechanic. If there are no issues with your car then you would be wasting your money.
BMW engineering is on par with the best in the world, of your car has done 70K with no issues then it is highly likely it will double or triple that as long as it is well maintained and regularly serviced.
