Might be a dumb idea, laugh at me later, but I know that there are lens covers you can get over here that make the amber look very dark, almost black. I don't know who he is, but there is a guy here who has them on his car, so don't you think it would be possible to order the Euro lenses with yellow covers on them just so they could get through customs, then peel them off once you get it?
