e93 wins, hands down!!! We had our first snow in northern VA. A good 3+ inches on the road and she didn't blink. Only slide when I pushed it hard, but the skid was very controlled.

My first winter with a bimmer. I was definitely nervous with 19" summer tires, and heard horror stories over the years about how BMW's are in the in the winter. So I purchased a set of wheels and winter tires from Tire Rack. Awesome choice.

Do not fear a rear-wheel drive BMW in the snow...you just need the right equipment. It's a tank.
