I recently got the Bentley manual and they say that the transmission fluid and filter should be changed between 60-80k with the maximum interval 100,000 miles. I am at 109,000 and will be doing mine soon. BMW says the transmission fluid is lifetime but I have read from a couple of good sources that this is a good idea and I don't see a downside. Less than 100 bucks. I plan on driving mine till 200k so I think it makes sense. I also did my spark plugs at about 85k which improved acceleration and gas mileage so you may consider that. Also the belt should be changed at some point in the fairly near future
