Thanks so much, so I could now order the JL Audio 500/5 confidently. Actually I am satisfied with the sound from tweeter and mid range, a 2-channel amp may be enough for the subs. I order instead a 5-channel to replace the OEM-amp completely just mind not to waste the energy since otherwise the sub-channnels of the OEM-amp would be unused.
