Totally agree.
I did 400 miles from Hampshire to Edinburgh lastnight, 80 on cruise most of the way, 60 miles of twisty roads, I managed 43mpg when I filled up at Shell and put the figures into my mpg calculator.
I think I could get 50 in a standard 335d but not remapped and not at 70-80mph.
