Everyone jokes about how "this is the time of year that they repave New Jersey," but the state really does have a great many beautiful areas. I couldn't get enough of the Pine Barrens, and my new friend Marilyn (of Buzby's General Store in Chatsworth) tells me that there are a number of really nice places that I missed on my first visit. So obviously I need to go back for more!
I did manage to get my 335i relatively dirty, as you suspected. The good thing about sand is that it washes right off.
