No, it goes faster, imo. But you definitely need to take your time, double check the instructions before doing anything. Getting the fuel sensor plug out is the hardest part, especially if you choose to leave the engine cover on like I did. Just remember it doesn't need a whole lot of muscle, if you're pushing down on the plug button and it's not sliding out, then it's likely that the button is still in the locked position.
