Fantastic post HACK. OP, you should read Ross Bentley's book "Speed Secrets". Ross even has a fun anecdote about an "understeering" Indy car, he ends up finding it was a driver issue, not a car setup issue.
One other thing, DON'T turn the steering wheel more to decrease your turning radius when you're reaching your front tire's limits. You're going to make it worse! You really ~did~ define "Fast In, Slow out.".
