Pre 03/07 = Two Button Haptic Feedback, menu/voice split. If 2007 model, should have rubber, earliest e90 iDrive CCC did not have rubber.
03/07 and Beyond = One menu button; no haptic feedback.
Also for 03/07 builds was the introduction of the 6 touch sensitive buttons..
