I have booked my car in (320D) following noticable clutch judder and having had the software update, which didn't work.

The dealer has told me that as its under warranty I won't have to pay, unless the clutch/flywheel shows signs of overheating - which is very unlikely in a car of my mileage/age. They said once the gearbox is out, they will have to measure the flywheel and clutch and BMW will authorise/decline accordingly.

Has anyone had to stump out despite having judder?
