People can say bad things about BMWs and drivers, but I think it's ok to say we all appreciate the true genius of BMW engineering, styling, and performance, We all like to talk about it, and we've all got that in common.
In then end, it's all about the market though. All of us here are more or less young (if we weren't and were in a different market segment, I doubt we'd be on the Internet at all, let alone a discussion forum). I could be wrong, but I doubt a 7 series forum is as active as this one for the three--not that only old people drive 7 series and only young drive 3, but you know what I mean.

Also don't forget that there are more 3-series sold than any other single BMW model. There are more of "us" e90 guys around to support such a forum.
